About Our Team
Adam – Boss Man & Blue Gum Founder
After a long stint in the Army, it was time for me to step back into the civilian world and settle down in the Hunter Valley with my family.
As an Army Engineer, I spent a lot of time getting my hands dirty with civil construction works. Prior to that I worked in building supplies, so it was a natural transition for me to seek out a career in the landscaping industry.
After learning the ropes in landscaping, I decided to buy the business I was working in and give it a new name, a new direction and a new lease on life – Blue Gum was born.
It has been a lot of fun building Blue Gum and I especially love helping out and chatting to all the local characters who pop in.
Everyone has a great story or two to tell and I’m incredibly grateful to our awesome customers who have supported us every step of the way.
It’s not all dirt and sand for me though. At the end of the week when I pull the pin on work you’ll find me fishing, camping and four wheel driving.
